• What does a good day look like in your role?

  Coming into the store to a team full of smiling faces and a busy shop floor full of satisfied customers. Our operations are running smoothly and all of the new stock is beautifully displayed. 

  And of course, the occasional dad joke is being told too!
   

• What does a challenging day look like in your role?

  A challenging day would be coming into the store and the stockroom is full with a backlog of delivery. The stockroom is the heartbeat of the store so if that isn’t operating smoothly then the store risks not hitting its full potential. Luckily for me, my amazing back of house manager keeps these days to a minimum. 

• What do you get up to in a typical day/week?

  Every day and week is different but that’s one of the things that I love about retail. One thing that is guaranteed at AllSaints is having fun and a laugh throughout your day. On a general day, I’ll be smashing through the latest delivery and placing the new, amazing stock that has arrived. I’ll also attend calls with colleagues across the brand, action compliance pieces and most importantly bring positive vibes to the team as they are who make the real magic happen. 

• What's the best thing about working for AllSaints?

  It has to be the variety of amazing people that you meet here. Each day is unique. A team of over 2,000 people from all different backgrounds and all different personalities working together to deliver the same goals. It’s great to be a part of. 

• What's the most surprising or unexpected thing about working for us?

  I think as I work in the retail team when I heard about how conscious AllSaints are with sustainability, that really surprised and impressed me. It’s more than just making clothes that look and feel amazing here. It’s about the journey that the clothes go on being amazing too. 

• Why AllSaints?

  Why anywhere other than AllSaints? The people within AllSaints are amazing. They help create such a great workplace where every day is a good one. The brand values are on point and the brand is always actively looking at ways to improve team members' work life. The charity and sustainability efforts here are also amazing.

• What's not in the job description but something you'd tell a friend if they were looking to join the brand?

  If you are looking for longevity in a job, AllSaints is an incredible brand to join. AllSaints looks after their teams and puts the team at the centre of what they do. It’s a special place. From the recognition you get in store to the relationships that you develop with the team in head office. It all feels like one big family. 
   

• Tell us about your journey with AllSaints so far.

  I started my journey in AllSaints five years ago as a peak stylist and I immediately fell in love with the brand. 

  My brand leader made sure the store had an amazing atmosphere. It was clear that the whole team had such a passion for the brand and an amazing work ethic. I was kept on as a permanent stylist whilst juggling my A-levels. I took on all the overtime I could and listened carefully so I could improve my knowledge. Then, lockdown hit and we were forced to close. Being located close to the distribution centre, I was able to help out there with packing online orders. This was really interesting as I got to learn about the brand from a different perspective. I found one common trend. Wherever in the business I went, I loved it! 

  Shortly after lockdown I was promoted to floor manager and in September 2022 I was seconded into the store manager role. That year we managed to deliver our biggest ever year which was such an amazing achievement

  During my time as store manager I’ve also spent time covering other stores in the UK and I even got the opportunity to spend three weeks covering one of our EU Outlet locations. My profile in the brand expanded and I worked as hard as I could to keep boosting my own knowledge. 

  Fast forward to now and it’s time for my next step. I am making the journey 4 hours 30 minutes up north to join the amazing team in Cheshire Oaks as store manager. 

  I love the brand and everyone involved. I am proud to work for AllSaints, a company where they do good things for the world outside of work and also all of the people involved within the brand.
