• What does a good day look like in your role?

  A good day at work is whenever I'm with my team and the product. Doing prototype reviews, with the design team, or in our showroom doing our seasonal buys. And nothing beats a good sign-off with our COO and CEO. 

• What does a challenging day look like in your role?

  There have been many challenges during Covid-19, but we've rolled with the punches. Every week brings a new challenge, be it delays to production or changing budgets. My team are very resilient.

• What do you get up to in a typical day/week?

  Mondays are always the same, we focus on the previous week's trading. The remainder of the week varies as we work on three seasons at once: prototype reviews, seasonal buys, trading current season.

• What’s the best thing about working for AllSaints?

  The people (and the uniform allowance!). 

• What’s the most surprising or unexpected thing about working for us?

  When I started I was genuinely surprised with the warm welcome I had, from every single person I met.

• What’s not in the job description but something you’d tell a friend if they were looking to join the brand?

  We're a surprisingly small head office headcount, considering the scale of the brand.

• Tell us about your journey with AllSaints so far.

  Funnily enough, when I moved to London 20 years ago my first job was in AllSaints Carnaby Street store! I was lucky to get some head office experience with them before moving to Ted Baker as a buying admin assistant where I worked my way up over the years. It's great to have come full circle to head up the AllSaints womenswear buying team.
