• What does a good day look like in your role?

  A good day for me is a productive and busy day. In my dream world I’d talk to every customer we see and spend loads of time with my team, as well as be able to sit down and plan ahead. Naturally, I can’t be everywhere no matter how much I try to, but a non-negotiable for me is the time spent with the team. So, if I get this time to coach, develop and invest in our relationship, I’d classify that as a good day. 

• What does a challenging day look like in your role?

  A challenging day for my role is when nothing goes to plan and what was on the to do list does not get done. This happens every now and again, but it’s important not to be too hard on ourselves. We’re all human and sometimes it’s okay not to achieve what you thought you would that day.
   

• What do you get up to in a typical day/week?

  My day starts with a long and stress-free morning routine. I don’t like to run around as I think this sets the tone for my day ahead. Getting into work from my home takes around an hour, this is where I catch up on emails and get the plan together for what needs to be achieved that day. I have a catch-up with my team and fill them in on the plan. My role is a mostly customer facing role, so every day includes a lot of speaking to our customers and getting to know their needs. 
   

• What's the best thing about working for AllSaints?

  The best thing about working for AllSaints is the pride I feel working for a brand that makes a difference every day.

• What's the most surprising or unexpected thing about working for us?

  How connected we all are to each other no matter where you are based. If we want to reach out to another store, we can easily either email that store, or message someone directly who’s in that day - no matter what district or region. I love that and it makes me feel welcome to go into any AllSaints store no matter the city.
   

• Why AllSaints?

  Because AllSaints cares and we do what we say we will do. AllSaints is very innovative within sustainability - we keep finding new ways to better ourselves. We never stand still, and neither are we ever planning on doing so! 
   

• What's not in the job description but something you'd tell a friend if they were looking to join the brand?

  People can sometimes look down on retail as a career, but I’d tell everyone that whilst it’s hard work and hands on, it’s also extremely fun and so rewarding. Seeing a team member develop in the customer service they provide after you’ve coached and invested the time in them - there are few better feelings!

• Tell us about your journey with AllSaints so far.

  I started my journey with this brand as a Christmas temp back in 2018 in our Trafford store. I quickly fell in love with the brand after seeing the customers' love for the product and how my management team made me feel. It truly felt like this was the brand for me and where I want to develop my career. I stayed in that store for a total of four and a half years and went from that young, 19 year old to the confident and proud person I am today. At the beginning of this year, I got the opportunity to lead my own store - Selfridges Exchange. Every day is different and I’ve loved every minute of making the store the best it can be.
