• What does a good day look like in your role?

  It is Monday, my Sunday stocktakes went without a hitch, there are some good initial results, and it’s not the first week following the end of the month! At our weekly meeting, I get to catch up with my team in person and talk about what's been going on, what's coming up and I’ve delegated them tasks that give them some variety and new experiences. The rest of the day involves anything that comes up, caffeine, a lunch time run and a feeling that I have achieved something come five o’clock.

• What does a challenging day look like in your role?

  All of the opposite to question one!
   

• What do you get up to in a typical day/week?

  My usual day or week is never the same as in addition to our daily and weekly tasks, the audit team works on everything related to the company's stock. Even though it might not seem like it as we are the ones sending out the store stock loss reports - the audit department always has the best interests of the brand at heart! Although based in the UK, my team and I work globally; supporting retail and the distribution centres in the UK/EU, US, and Asia. This leads to a range of responsibilities and the opportunity to assist many different people.

• What's the best thing about working for AllSaints?

  The company culture is undoubtedly the best thing about working for AllSaints. I love how everyone feels seen, heard and encouraged to be their authentic self! 

• What's the most surprising or unexpected thing about working for us?

  I have always been a decent dresser but working for AllSaints has surprisingly inspired me to step outside of my comfort zone with my style…. who gets their nose pierced at 40!
   

• Why AllSaints?

  It is hard to narrow it down to just one reason, but I honestly love my job and the people I work with.
   

• What's not in the job description but something you'd tell a friend if they were looking to join the brand?

  Every day is unique; you pick things up quickly and always know that you have a solid group of colleagues supporting you

• Tell us about your journey with AllSaints so far.

  After receiving my Master's in science, I applied for a temporary job in the old UK DC, not knowing what my long-term objectives were, and having a two month old baby. In less than six months I was given the opportunity to join the audit department, which was something I had never considered. I soon realised that this was a good fit for my analytical way of thinking, and now here I am15 years later and the manager of the team!
