THE ROLE

As a digital brand, our Ecommerce team is at the beating heart of an exciting time in the brand’s history. The Digital Content department’s aim is to deliver not only a great online shopping experience across all platforms, but to constantly evolve, innovate and create a stand-out brand experience on AllSaints.com.

The Assistant Digital Editor is the voice of the brand across all digital channels. Responsible for developing and communicating distinct tone of voice guidelines. You will have a great editorial style and a fantastic knowledge of trends, ensuring that our copy is accurate, commercial, fashion-focused and optimised for search at all times.

Reporting into the Digital Editorial Manager, you will be primarily working on a special project where you will assist with the planning and execution of the website's back pages. You will also work closely with Customer Experience and project teams.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Adopt the AllSaints TOV and produce accurate, informed and engaging copy (short and long form) for our website and other digital touchpoints
  • Write punchy headlines and customer-friendly copy for AllSaints.com (primarily with a focus on back pages/page footer content: from FAQ pages to company information and more)
  • Plan out the website’s back pages, working closely with Customer Experience and project teams to gather key information on delivery, from SLA’s to FAQs
  • Planning content, mapping out wireframes prior to team presentation
  • Carefully sub-edit and proofread your own copy and the copy of others before being signed off and going live
  • Research competitors, copy articles, emails, social media, etc to help further develop content and support idea pitches
  • Work closely with the wider Digital Content team (copywriters, graphic designers and developers) and cross-functionally with different stakeholders
  • Overseeing all editorial/ product content information is accurate and up-to-date across all global channels at all times
  • Other ad hoc projects and tasks such as day-to-day content strategy, curation of editorial content across all channels (including website, editorial, email and digital marketing)

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THE ROLE?

  • A strong storyteller with a background within a fashion/lifestyle brand within a copy and content focus role
  • A good understanding of SEO, UX, editorial policies, copyright, data protection and best practice
  • CMS experience preferred
  • Excellent written English (spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary etc), sub-editing and proofreading skills
  • A creative mind and versatile writing style to cover various touchpoints (from website FAQ pages, to email, to social and more)
  • Customer centric, think like the customer - have an understanding of the customer experience/ journey and be able to identify how to enhance it
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise work schedules
  • Collaborative, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Reliable and acts in a timely manner
  • Proactive, motivated, uses initiative
  • The ability to communicate clearly, accurately and confidently
  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism or equivalent is preferred

ABOUT THE LOCATION

You’ll be working in our East London Studios based in London’ vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
