THE ROLE

The role is an essential part of the Finance team for the global operations of AllSaints, supporting & implementing the Financial Accounting and Reporting agenda across the globe. The role will support the Group Finance Manager to ensure best practice in financial accounting processes is in place, ensuring the provision of financial information for internal & external reporting is timely, accurate and compliant with IFRS.


As you will be working with teams across the world you will be need to be a natural at building strong relationship quickly across all levels.
You will report directly into the Group Finance Manager and sit within the Finance team.


WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Intercompany management including:
  • Developing intercompany processes and ensuring these are applied
  • Overseeing and reviewing preparation of intercompany invoices, adjustments, trade balances and loans and the reconciliation of all intercompany balances
  • Ensuring all intercompany balances are appropriately eliminating on consolidation
  • Working closely with the Global Tax Manager to ensure intercompany processes and policies are compliant with the appropriate tax legislation and the Group is not exposed to unnecessary risk
  • Working closing with our Asia teams to ensure accurate timely reporting
  • Reviewing monthly reporting submitted by subsidiaries and supporting documentation
  • Management of foreign exchange risk, exposure and reporting
  • Reconciliation and accounting of financing facilities
  • Assist with the Statutory audit including:
  • Owner of the statutory Consolidation
  • Preparation of year end statutory reporting
  • Provide clear technical accounting guidance (including written technical accounting papers) on any matter arising
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the Group Finance Manager

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?

  • Newly Qualified accountant from top accounting firm (ACA/ACCA)
  • Experience managing Intercompany transactions
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong background in completing and reviewing statutory accounts
  • Demonstrate being curious, inquisitive and robust with a drive to improve financial accounting discipline within a business
  • Eye for detail and ability to identify errors
  • A collaborative team player
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, commercially focused environment and able to adapt to change quickly
  • Disciplined approach to production and documentation of work
  • A Retail Industry background would be desirable for this role
