THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the Director of PR Marketing & Communications, this role needs to have strong product knowledge and customer service to maintain elevated experiences for our Press/VIP clients. It is highly important to have awareness of fashion calendars and key yearly events. Maintaining relationships built within Press activity to keep the brand in a positive and relevant position throughout the industry.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
- Provide correspondence & direct contact to all press inquiries (i.e. editors, productions, stylists, and VIPs/celebrity)
- Lead styling for VIP visits/pitching, LA Sessions, content projects based on product knowledge and key performance indicators
- Find and track media, editorial, and social placements and relay to the PR & Marketing team, leadership, and stores for weekly reporting
- Lead and execute the Studio Service Program across all North American locations to provide wardrobe for film, television, and commercials
- Support in presenting ROI and press activity at annual leadership conferences
- Relay and share notable press moments and activities with retail store teams (especially in key markets)
- Maintain effective and close communication with all retail stores in key markets that are seeing press activity
- Manage and upkeep contacts, outreach, and activation lists
- Manage and upkeep events calendar to strategize around key dates, outreach, talent, and outside markets
- Support campaign shoots, content projects, and samples movement
- Provide press clippings and collaborate on strategies aimed at further outreach
- Maintain and manage appointment scheduling and coordination with flexibility for high-pressure situations
- Maintain VIP space and the LA Beverly Drive press movement to seamlessly execute press activity in store
- Provide VIP and press pull procedure training to store teams in the key press markets to maximize the ROI impact
- Maintain press trackers and partner accordingly to monitor and keep all press stock movement
- Actively selling and styling to ensure growth in sales and conversion in store
- Developing lasting client relationships with partners
- Respectful and professional at all times with all vendors, VIP clients, and partners
- Ensuring company procedures are followed with regards to cash, premises, stock, and personnel
- Implementing robust stock replenishment and clearing processes so all sizes are available
WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED?
- Strong background in retail operations (shipping, logistics)
- Public relations or styling background
- Immaculate attention to detail
- Ability to navigate social media platforms
- Obsess over Brand, works with pace and design thinks to ensure store is operating at its best
EXPERIENCE
- Experience utilising digital resources and key metrics to showcase coverage and ROI (Muck Rack, Launchmetrics)
- Proficient in reporting tools, such as Excel and Google Workspace
- Have print/digital media and fashion schedule experience
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Availability of working business hours during weekdays, with some weekend work required
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 1-3 years work experience within VIP Services, Styling or Public Relations
Pay Range in Los Angeles, CA
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
Hourly Rate:
$25.00/hr - $28.00/hr
ABOUT THE LOCATION
Our North America region is made up of 71 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada, with our flagship store in New York City. We are primarily based out of our Los Angeles studios, bringing our brand’s iconic aesthetic to West Hollywood, CA.
