THE ROLE

As Production Manager you will be supporting the team and contributing to the overall production strategy. The function focuses on our ability to interact with our suppliers in a collaborative and results driven manner, whilst at the same time ensuring we sustain our product critical path.


You will be enthusiastic and confident presenting across the business. Driving culture and encouraging development within the team. The company values will be embedded into your every day as you effectively communicate and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.


You will be expected to oversee & ensure products are manufactured & delivered in line with the critical path at the correct margin & the highest quality. You will report into the Senior Production Manager.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • Analyse Supplier base, and continue to improve on supplier relationships to achieve on-time deliveries
  • You’ll work closely and collaboratively with the creative, technical and buying teams to identify and implement solutions for our ranges. You are driven by results and have a keen interest in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement
  • Liaise with all relevant departments to ensure that the All Saints product is manufactured to the highest quality & all orders are placed in line with the critical path
  • Collaborate with the technical department to ensure that they have visibility of what has been bought & assist in prioritising comments being issued
  • Ensure that Purchase Orders are raised in a timely fashion which supports the lead time of each product area/ manufacturing region
  • Drive a positive culture within the team, encouraging a growth mindset
  • You will be a strong leader for your direct reports supporting their development and ensuring their goals are clearly set and align with business objectives.
  • Working with the Senior PM, follow the production strategy to ensure business KPIS are achieved
  • Ensure that all orders are collected by the agreed freight forwarder on the agreed shipment dates. Ensure suppliers are shipping to the correct destination as per the agreed mode of shipment
  • Be responsible for the on-time delivery against specific launch dates
  • Oversee discount negotations, ensuring discounts are achieved & payments are received. (as required)
  • Develop brainstorming sessions welcoming team feedback, create a safe space to encourage development
  • As & when reasonable travel to meet suppliers
  • Extensive experience developing a team, building global supplier relationships and working within a production department

WHAT SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?

  • Have proven management experience
  • Proven experience of successfully managing & working to a critical path
  • Strong negotiation & influencing skills with experience of working with open costings
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Full understanding of the product cycle & its role within a rapidly expanding business
  • Full understanding of a critical path & the importance of adhering to deadlines set by the critical path
  • The ability to work well under pressure & meet deadlines set
  • Extensive knowledge of Fastreact, Excel, Word & Outlook

  • You have strong relationship management skills, creating fun and inviting environments for both team and customers and you have the ability to influence our partners when needed

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Based in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty. Studio Location. Approximately a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station and a 5 minute walk from Shoreditch High Street.
