THE ROLE
In this role, you will lead and shape our People Partnering (UKEU) and Talent Acquisition (Global) plans - attracting and resourcing talent across the globe for our North America, UK, and EU markets, as well as leading the People Partnering plan to deliver the people strategy for the UK and EU markets. You will work across our head office, retail and distribution centre client groups building long standing and credible relationships.
It’s a brilliant hybrid of an operational and strategic role - you will partner at a senior level, directly impacting the business by coaching leaders to maximise team potential. You will continuously seek innovative approaches to enhance the return on investment in people, products, and technology with a strong emphasis on Performance Management, Empowerment, and Alignment - all whilst working in sync with our brand values.
ABOUT THE TEAM
A key part of the People & Culture senior leadership team, and reporting to the Chief People Officer. You’ll lead a team of people professionals, so strong ER skills as well as a strong knowledge of EU and UK employment law will be an advantage to support your team, and ensure a consistent and exceptional candidate and employee experience.
Talent Acquisition
- Deliver the Talent Acquisition plan through the team. Focusing on:
- Being THE employer of choice: Lead employer branding initiatives and develop an employer branding proposition. Owning our Linkedin, Glassdoor and AllSaints Careers site to showcase what it’s like to work here. Utilising our internal intranet (Haiilo) and AllSaints Careers site to increase awareness about developing your career internally with AllSaints
- Global talent mobility: Increasing visibility of how people can move within our brand and supporting them to do so. Owning our Store 2 Studio programme and hosting events to promote this important career pathway.
- Candidate experience: Attracting the best talent that has potential to grow, whilst making sure everyone knows what to expect when applying for a role with our amazing brand. And then getting them excited about their next step!
- Responsible recruitment: Ensuring we are attracting talent from a diverse range of sources, campaigns, and events. Partnering with people that are right for our brand, overseeing our application tracking system (ATS), whilst making sure we are ethical and compliant at all times.
- Lead the Talent Acquisition team in their day to day duties and projects by coaching and developing the team whilst being a point of escalation, and supporting with hands on recruitment as and when required.
- Maintain awareness of key market trends in recruitment and employer branding, alongside competitor activity.
- Accountable for attraction and recruitment of new store openings - partnering with retail teams to ensure these are recruited and onboarded successfully, setting teams up for success.
- Accountable for peak recruitment in our stores and distribution centre, partnering closely with our retail and logistics teams.
- Provide regular reporting commentary to the Chief People Officer on key performance indicators relating to all things recruitment.
People Partnering
- Deliver the People Partnering plan through the team. Focusing on:
- Continually strengthening our foundations through our policies, handbooks, toolkits, employee relations training and career pathways. Ensuring information is accessible to everyone - empowering our teams.
- Staying ahead of legislation and keeping compliant by working with internal stakeholders such as retail operations, learning and development and payroll teams. With particular focus on EU Pay Transparency, Employment Rights Bill readiness, and Mandatory training.
- Being intentional with our interactions, even at scale. Leading the team to implement a business partnering model that supports our business goals and drives our transformation objectives.
- We are the business of feelings - own and deliver the People Essentials, People & Conduct, People & Performance, DE&I and ER Masterclass learning pathways. Continually review our wellbeing proposition to support a diverse workforce, and empower managers by signposting to relevant support and driving accountability.
- Lead, coach, and develop the People Partnering team to create a commercial and credible people service.
- Drive employee relations resolution in line with our brand values - we will always do the right thing for our people.
- Be the point of escalation for appeals and supporting employee relations cases as and when required.
- Lead the team through store closures, restructures and reorganisations in line with our transformation programme - ensuring resources are aligned to our strategy, legal compliance and making sure we look after our people during difficult times.
- Accountable for the bi-annual performance calibration and appraisal processes - including planning communication, record keeping, training and outputs.
- Working with the Chief People Officer, responsibility for benchmarking and setting pay for UK and EU teams.
- Working with the Chief People Officer and Chief Finance Officer, responsibility for annual budgeting and forecasting people plans.
- Working with the Global Head of Payroll to implement the pay review process and any pay changes through the teams.
- Manage ‘in year’ people budgets for Head Office department, including remuneration decisions, ensuring all decisions are documented, justified, and escalated to the Chief People Officer when necessary.
- Provide regular reporting commentary to the Chief People Officer on key performance indicators relating to all things employee relations.
- Support with coordinating P&C Team activities such as team days, team meetings, the global project planner.
- Support on wider people projects as directed by the Chief People Officer.

- Integrity: Embodies core values through honesty and trustworthiness, dedicated to protecting the brand, customers, product, profit margins, and team health and safety.
- Proven generalist Senior HR Manager experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably retail), with full life cycle recruitment across head office and retail, strong ER, transformation, and organization design experience.
- Strong business partnering, influencing, and excellent communication skills. Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to handle ambiguity, highly organized, able to prioritize workload effectively, work at pace, and make autonomous decisions.
- A global mindset, whilst adapting to the needs of our specific client groups and stakeholders.
- Training and coaching experience (including content creation), international experience (essential).
- Budget management experience.
