• What does a good day look like in your role?

  I love helping people so a good day for me is when I'm able to help and support someone - whether that's helping a stylist with a contract query or guiding a store manager with how to conduct a welfare meeting. Also getting out and about, visiting our stores - getting to know the people who make our brand so special and seeing our teams in action with our customers.

• What does a challenging day look like in your role?

  Part of my role is supporting with difficult conversations. Naturally these can be quite challenging to navigate but ultimately are important and worthwhile conversations to have.

• What do you get up to in a typical day/week?

  No day is the same which keeps my role interesting. It could be anything from a welfare meeting, advising managers on our policies and procedures (whether that's performance management, time and attendance, maternity/paternity leave, flexible working, compliance), hosting equality and diversity training, creating "how-to" guides, so it's very varied!

• What’s the best thing about working for AllSaints?

  The people! I love how diverse our teams are with people from all walks of life, and the fab product of course.

• What’s the most surprising or unexpected thing about working for us?

  Just how much everyone is willing to help each other out - no-one is precious about status.

• Tell us about your journey with AllSaints so far.

  My journey with the brand started in July 2018 when I joined as people and culture administrator. In this role I was responsible for supporting the wider people & culture team with all things administration and database management and it gave me a great foundation for my HR career. I then joined our people operations team as junior HR advisor in January 2020 before being promoted in March 2021 to my current role, junior people partner where I am responsible for all the people advisory support across our UK retail stores.
