Learning, Evolution and Development: How We Sum Up Our Training Opportunities

That’s why we have a hard working, go-getting learning & development team ready to support our people and see that they thrive. Sara Duxbury is our Global Head of Learning and Development, supporting her is Opeline Kellett, our Learning and Development Manager UK/EU and Krystyna Wood, our Learning and Development Facilitator. Together, they go above and beyond to make sure our business has access to the training opportunities they deserve. 

So, what’s new?

Sara started off with our heads of development course and hasn’t slowed down. “I have since created multiple leadership programmes and I’m proud to say that we now have a varied global SmartSaints catalogue which includes over 25 courses, as well as AllSaints AllAccess & an array of leadership & wellbeing podcasts which provide all team members with access to personal development and learning resources. I think my favourite course to date has to be the BOOST programme which we first ran in 2020. It was designed purely to develop and protect team members' resilience and wellbeing. It’s still our most well-attended programme to date.” 

In 2019, Opeline led the evolution of our retail onboarding proposition. “New managers follow a structured in-store learning plan whilst also getting to learn on the job. I have also created bespoke floor manager and store manager development programmes which focus on core skills for retail managers to lead themselves and their teams.”

All the programmes they have created have seen our people able to move forward in their careers. This wouldn’t have been possible without the learning & development team behind the scenes, lending their support, encouragement and insight to teams throughout AllSaints.
